While the tires are off, I clean both the inside and outside of the wheel with the Meguiar's and a very soft bristle brush and simply hose them off. I watched Allen Hendrix use the Meguiar's when he did my wheels and tires and it really worked well. That is the only stuff he uses (I have no financial interest in Meguiar's or Allen's operation). I was impressed with what I saw and it is all I use.
