<DIV dir=ltr>Hi all
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>I hope someone can help me with a problem I have with fitting a new fuel
tank from AH Spares on my 100/6 BN4.</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>On attempting installation, I have found that the fuel pipe on the car
doesn't line up with the boss on the fuel tank (and there is no flexibility in
the outlet pipe as it does an immediate right angle on the other side of the
boot wall).</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>I had assumed the replacement tank would be an exact match for the original
but, as you can see from the pictures attached, with the tank dead centre in the
boot and as tight to the rear wall as possible, the boss is too far back and off
to the left; meaning I cannot get it attached. At a push I could set the
tank off-centre, but I would still be about 2cm too short.</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>I have attached some pics to show what I mean. </DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>AH Spares tells me to buy a new fuel pipe kit from them, but also tells
that the pipe is of a fixed length and the bend I need to get it on to reach the
tank boss (as it is at the moment) is a little extreme and will probably kink
it.</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV></DIV>
<DIV>As always, any advice would be gratefully received.<BR></DIV>
<DIV>
<DIV>
<DIV> </DIV></DIV></DIV>
<DIV>Many thanks</DIV>
