I put this head on the engine I am removing the outer spring to look at the 
seal.  Can someone tell me what I am looking at here?  This rebuilt 
head has never been installed, but been sitting for several years.  I 
remember the round rubber disc seals that I bought for this, but are they 
supposed to flatten out in the cup around the valve stem like this?
