NASCAR announced their new version of wheels that will be used during sanctioned racing, a center lock wheel. Yep those old knockoffs that we both love and detest will be revamped and used on an 18 inch non steel wheel. Granted the ears will be missing, hence no hammers will be flying around the pit stop areas. Suspect there will be a pneumatic gun used instead.
