<div>I just went through this process several times on my BN7. I have a relatively new wiring harness, but nothing I tried would get the wires back down the tube. I ended up cutting off the metal connectors on most of the wires, leaving one to use to attach
the string. Fairly easy to replace the tips at the front of the steering box if the grill is out of the car.</div>

<div>Well "assembly is the reverse of disassembly" right? Managed to remove the wiring harness in the manner I have done times before. That is, attaching a string to the har before pulling it up through the stator tube. Problem is cannot get har back down
through the tube. After numerous attempts the string broke. Does not help that the cloth insulation is deteriorated and missing on about the last foot of the har.</div>

<div>Any suggestions how to proceed</div>
