discussions on this forum about which modern engine oils and gear oils 

would be equivalent to the lubricants specified in the AH Manuals. The original 

lubricants are generally not available. I have attached a chart that 

shows an easy way to cross over from engine oils to gears oils and the 

relative differences in viscosity. Remember to only use a gear oil with a GL-4
