The screw that I'm trying to describe is not a self tapping screw. It is a countersunk Phillips head 1/4" UNF thread.</div><div class="gmail_default" style="font-family:comic sans ms,sans-serif;font-size:small">The part number is CMZ0410 meaning it is a countersink head zinc plated Phillips 4 sixteenths in diameter and 10 sixteenths long.<br></div><div class="gmail_default" style="font-family:comic sans ms,sans-serif;font-size:small"><div><img src="cid:ii_jsgxyezn0" alt="image.png" width="500" height="317"></div><div>It is #46 in this image and it screws into the tapped plate #45 (14B2546) and it was used on both sides on all models from BN1 - BJ8.<br></div><div>The countersunk Phillips head is hidden by the cockpit combing and the interior trim panel.</div><div>The tapped plate which is about 2.5" x 1" x 1/8" thick is located on the outside of the fender flange and its purpose is to hold the fender tight to the inner body while clamping the shroud.</div><div>From memory the screw passes through the first screw hole in the fender flange rearward of the door shut post.</div><div><br></div><div>M<br></div><div><br></div>
