<p style="margin: 0px;">Typical 6 cylinder Austin-Healey problem. Usually the rocker shaft is worn and oil is spread all over under the rocker cover. Rocker number 10 or 11 is directly under the ventilation and blows oil directly into it.</p>
<p style="margin: 0px;"><span style="font-family:arial,helvetica,sans-serif;font-size:10pt;color:#000000;text-decoration:none">Problem solved by replacing the worn rocker shaft and new bushes for the rockers. </span></p>
<p style="margin: 0px;"><span style="font-family:arial,helvetica,sans-serif;font-size:10pt;color:#000000;text-decoration:none"><span style="font-family:arial,helvetica,sans-serif;font-size:10pt;color:#000000;text-decoration:none">Let it done by a specialist, as it needs some Healey engine knowledge to do it right.</span></span></p>

<div dir="ltr">Short of pulling my head, is there anyway to test where the oil is coming from? My rear air filter has a lot of oil blow by. I should clean it every 1000 miles or so. So is it coming from Valve stem seals, valve guides or rocker arm??? When I adjusted my valves I did not see a lot of oil pumping from the rocker arms. I plan to drive my car on a 3000 trip in Sept from Portland,OR to Deadwood, SD fro Conclave and thought I should address this before going.<br clear="all" />
