I went through 3 of those, including one from a UK supplier who claimed theirs were from a different supplier from the rest, and better. They all shed their red script, one in almost one piece. I figure that the skills/techniques to do these properly has been lost. The main issue seems to be that a) the casting of the script is too shallow, and the edges not sufficiently sharp, and b) the chrome plating in the script isn’t etched or otherwise prepared to form a key for the cloisonné. The original badge on my other Healey is fine after 63 years.
