available locally and it would be tough to tell on-line if another would be any better. I'm also in metal now and it might just be easier to bite the bullet and modify the shroud. </p>

<div>Thank you gentlemen for your responses. </div>
<div><br>
</div>
<div>A little more information from the measurements I've taken:</div>
<div><br>
</div>
<div>I measured the grille and the opening with the grille removed and straight across the back to avoid any error caused by the curvature of the grille. From the bottom of the grille where it sits on the shroud opening, to the top of the grille surround and
as close to the center of both as I could get the grille itself measures 13-1/4" while the opening from both of these points measures 13-5/8".</div>
<div><br>
</div>
<div>I can shim the grille upward at the bottom, but the surround still doesn't cover the center of the upper lip when it is raised to where the attachment studs touch the shroud. In that position it doesn't cover both of the sides of the opening.</div>
<div><br>
</div>
<div>I've added a few pictures of my dilemma showing the gap at the top of the grille and the method I used to measure the difference. The second two pics are with a 1'4" shim added to the lower grille mount.</div>
