<div dir="ltr">William, <div><br></div><div>Without a photo it's hard to tell, however there are some so-called NOS replacement grills that have a flatter top, and I can tell you from the experience of others, that yes these are a bit too short and do not fit. A friend scrapped this type of grill during his restoration and found an original had it restored and it fits just fine!.</div><div><br></div><div>To answer your question, in my opinion no... the only car with the "peaked" grill was the prototype Earls Court show car. <p style="margin-top:0;margin-bottom:0">In the midst of the refurbishment of my 100 I have discovered that the grille that came with the car is about 1/2" to 3/4" short of fitting the grille opening in the shroud in the vertical direction. I had considered
this to be due to production tolerances and planned to modify the shroud to fit the grille, but then it occurred to me that there are a couple different grille designs for the 100s and that this being an early car may have been equipped with an earlier version
of the grille.</p>

<p style="margin-top:0;margin-bottom:0">Does anyone have any information on whether any early cars were equipped with the earlier peaked grille (as used on the prototype) or how many if any were equipped with the interim flat topped grille and whether there
would have been differences in the size of the grille opening.</p>
