Just measured mine. The body guy was very precise in his measurements before he welded it in place. It measures 14 and 3/8ths inches on both sides. Crap.<div id="yMail_cursorElementTracker_1517938954786">Mike<br id="yMail_cursorElementTracker_1517938818230"><br><div id="ymail_android_signature"><a href="https://overview.mail.yahoo.com/mobile/?.src=Android">Sent from Yahoo Mail on Android</a></div> <br> <blockquote style="margin: 0 0 20px 0;"> <div style="font-family:Roboto, sans-serif; color:#6D00F6;"> <div>On Mon, Feb 5, 2018 at 10:58 PM, WILLIAM B LAWRENCE</div><div><ynotink@msn.com> wrote:</div> </div> <div style="padding: 10px 0 0 20px; margin: 10px 0 0 0; border-left: 1px solid #6D00F6;"> <div id="yiv2337111750"><style type="text/css">#yiv2337111750 #yiv2337111750 -- P {margin-top:0;margin-bottom:0;}#yiv2337111750 </style><div dir="ltr">

that my car isn't too badly out of shape it looks as if the bracket is offset about 3/4" to the right. Maybe you can get your body man to correct it gratis since it's his mistake.</p>

<b>Subject:</b> [Healeys] Trunk Lock Problem</font>
<div> </div>
</div>
<div>Can someone look at their 100 and give me some kind of measurement location for the angled bracket that is welded between the trunk floor and the support hoop for the rear shroud. The trunk lid lock does not line up with the striker in the trunk, so I
can not lock the trunk. I suspect during the restoration when the new hoop and bracket were welded in, the body man simply welded the bracket in the center. I suspect it should be off center to the right a bit looking from behind the car for proper alignment.
The trunk lock is a fixed location with no adjustment. The striker does adjust left and right some, but not enough to line up correctly. I am not looking forward to removing the bracket and re-welding it since it has been painted already.
