<p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-GB">I have Goodridge brake hoses, by which I mean hoses with a stainless steel woven/braided outer layer.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-GB"><o:p> </o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-GB">Now, I am thinking of getting some form of clamp to minimize the drips and ingress of air.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-GB">Do these things work on braided hoses?<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-GB">It seems to me that, were the clamp strong enough to squish the hose flat, it would deform the braiding and the hose would never recover?????<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-GB">Maybe better to plug the hose with a sharp bit of wood and bleed the system afterwards??<o:p></o:p></span></p>
