Over the switchback and down onto the other side of the road. Or under it and swap over. I have figured out that those cotter pins have to protrude about 1/4 inch above the king pin boss and then tightened a lot while moving the king pin around to get them centered.I was having play at the wheel because the cotter pin wasn't really tight and blaming worn fulcrum pins and king pins. Bolts were installed using a brass hammer since I<br>don't have a press.<br><br>Some pics attached of the semi-finished rod, it has had the clamping faces<br>machined 0.005" each and now goes back to the engine shop for resizing the<br>tunnel. There are two ways of resizing, using a hone which is rather sloppy<br>or using a machine which is far more accurate as it doesn't increase the<br>sideways diameter.
