<div dir="ltr"><div><div><div><div><div><div>Hello Reinhart,<br><br></div>That's why all BN1/2 windscreen assemblies were numbered, both the chrome foot and the corresponding side post should have the same number because they were very much hand fitted from new, and then numbered to keep them together. They can be made to fit, but sometimes not without quite a bit of fiddling.<br><br></div>The numbers were unique to the windscreens, and the numbers left and right were different but somewhat similar, however they matched top and bottom. Not only is the glass a different shape, cut and curvature, but the screen surrounds are completely different. All the production four cylinder cars (except the 100S) have the same windscreen surround and glass and all the production six-cylinder roadsters have the same (but different to the 100s) windscreen and glass. <u></u><u></u></span></p><p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-AU"><u></u> <u></u></span></p><p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-AU">Fitting a six-cylinder screen to a four-cylinder car is a pain in the bum.
