However as an impoverished student over 50 years ago I recall changing out the throttle shafts on my Sprite, at minimal cost, convincing myself that this made a difference! Joe Curto wants around $500 to rebuild a pair of SUs. I would like to go ream out the bodies and go to the oversized .320" throttle shafts. Moss wants $270.00 for the reaming tool and I do not anticipate I will need to do this job again during my lifetime.
