      door. They should be of equal width top to bottom but rarely are,
      indicating that the rear body has not been shimmed properly in a
      restoration.<br>
      Look out for rot in the very front/headlight area and outriggers.
      Further more the usual check for rot as with any car. Check for
      accident damage and straightness of the chassis. Engine is fairly
      bulletproof but watch for fore and aft movement of the crankshaft
      indicating wear in the crankshaft half moon bearing with possible
      damage to crankshaft and/or engine block. Usually caused by
      starting with the clutch depressed and holding the clutch at
      traffic lights etc.<br>
      Fit triple Webers or DellOrto's to match the power from the
      original UK spec Lucas fuel injection, the Strombergs are very
      restrictive.<br>
      Wooden dashboard is cheaply available new or can be made
      up/restored fairly easily if you know how to veneer (both
      sides!!!) and to work plywood.<br>
      Parts availability excellent, probably even better than A-H.<br>
