I get 5-1/4" collapsed and 10-7/8" extended on the Shelley jack from my BJ8 (note measurements are to the horizontal part of the L-shaped pad). I have a small bottle jack that is 8-1/4" high collapsed.<br>

I suggest you get a geared scissor jack, if you can find one.<br>
