Can you see the date code on your solenoid?<br>
I puta cast body one on #174 but it's date is 2/51.... may be it should be the pressed steel style like yours.<br>

<div>Here are a couple of shots of my start solenoid. I have the same bracket as Michael's and I have clamp "shell" that holds the solenoid to that bracket.
