<DIV>There was a tech article in the May 2006 issue of Austin Healey magazine
where Norman Nock described the wear points in the 3000 throttle linkages and
briefly discusses removing and replacing them. Specific to my situation is
where he describes the replacing of the bushes on the 15" cross-shaft
above the bellhousing. Also for added convinience he suggests removing the
transmission cover. And then work the right bracket from under the
bonnet and from below the car on the left side.<BR></DIV>
<DIV>I am attempting to do this since I have my transmission out but for the
life of me can't remove the rear bolt on each bracket. I have yet to remove
the clutch which would gain me more access and I can't get under my car. I
know this can be done but I need a few hints..Please!!</DIV><SPAN
