Have recently installed new ceramic brake pads. It was a tight fit with the added felt type backing? I used the metal shims also? The rubber diaphragm in the brake booster(Lockheed)was also replaced. It was torn and leaked. Used Lucas brand Dot 4 fluid. System is well bled. Stopping is very good.<o:p></o:p></span></p><p><span lang=EN-US style='font-size:14.0pt'><o:p> </o:p></span></p><p><span lang=EN-US style='font-size:14.0pt'>The calipers were rebuilt with stainless pistons and all rubber hoses and some steel lines were replaced. New rear wheel cylinders. This was done in 2002.<o:p></o:p></span></p><p><span lang=EN-US style='font-size:14.0pt'><o:p> </o:p></span></p><p><span lang=EN-US style='font-size:14.0pt'> New pads have about 7-800 miles. Break in as per instructions. Drove to Enclave and noticed the sticking when in stop and go traffic on a very hot day. Temp gauge reached 212 at times. This is when the problem starts, in traffic, gauge temps over 190, very hard pedal develops.<o:p></o:p></span></p><p><span lang=EN-US style='font-size:14.0pt'><o:p> </o:p></span></p><p><span lang=EN-US style='font-size:14.0pt'>Noticed after these runs both front wire wheels are very hot to the touch.
