<div>Several comments on ohms, and recalibration re:  fuel sending units 
and gauges but no solutions.  My solution was to have a known quantity 
of gasoline in the tank then bend the float arm to approximately show that 
quantity on the gauge.  Half a tank of gas?  Adjust the float arm so 
that the gauge shows one half full.  So far, so good.  But I also 
carry a marked stick as insurance.  Also, adding an additional ground strap 
to the sender did not solve the needle movement situation.</div>
