<P class=MsoNormal>We have had a discussion about pistons etc recently, but can
anybody enlighten me as to the difference between the 29D block and E & F
varieties, apart from camshafts which are interchangeable anyway?<o:p></o:p></P>
<P class=MsoNormal>I have been informed that the earlier crankshafts are more
desirable owing to a higher steel content than the later ones.<o:p></o:p></P>
<P class=MsoNormal>Or is it just BMC sticking another plate to designate the
different model car it was fitted to?<o:p></o:p></P>
