[Healeys] Clutch release bearings

Hi folks,

I’m working on my clutch and will be ordering some parts soon.
I wanted to ask if anyone out there has tried the modern design (roller bearing) of throw out or release bearing.
On one hand, the old carbon puck type has worked well for many years, but I wondered if, after reading about Simon’s recent experience,  the quality of the replacements may not be as good?
On the other hand, I don’t know anyone with personal experience using the new type.
