I have them on my BN1, and I had them on my other BN1 which I lost in a fire. Both cars performed really well with them and I like them. They look good and hold the road well. Most of the time, I drive like you, nice and easy, but with my present BN1, I have been known to drive a bit "spirited" and they feel really good under the car. My car has had a bunch of M mods, bigger carbs, cam, higher compression, and on the road I can keep up with a 3000 with no problem, so my spirited driving is quite fun. Bottom line, I like them and they have served me well. They aren’t worn and there is no visible cracking but I’m thinking that their time has come. I’m a pretty placid driver. I live in Devon, SW UK, so the car is more usually to be found pottering around the countryside than thrashing its way up and down the motorways. I do take it to Le Mans every year but that’s not a long drive from here and I seldom take it much over 70 and, normally, I’m at 60 to 65. So………I’m looking at the Vredstein T-trac 2. It seems to be one of the better middle priced tyres. I do note reviews saying that it’s “a good tyre for smaller cars”. Not quite sure what that’s implying nor what defines a “small” car. Weight, I suppose. So, what’s the accumulated wisdom on these Vredsteins? Thank you.
