[Healeys] AEC 3475? laygear?

One possibility I just thought of - it IS an AEC 3475 gear, but has been 
bored out to fit the larger layshaft used with the AEC 3649.  You really 
can't tell from thses pictures whether the bore for the layshaft has 
been tampered with or not.
