 Gary, my apologies,  the dome on the black lid is pretty close in shape to the original although the vent hole appears to be larger. (Pics attached). It's unfortunate that the word "GIRLING" is missing on the repro, probably a trademark issue.
I actually have a NOS 100 reservoir  assembly complete with the lid and original decal (for which I paid an embarrassingly large sum a few years back).Judy and I  are considering a Mediterranean cruise this wwinterso an attractive offer might be entertained. 🤣🤣

Subject: [Healeys] Lid on fluid reservoir Second request, Any thoughts on this?The brake fluid reservoir on a early Healeys have a unique lid, different from the lids on all later Healeys. There are two differences. The early lids have a larger diameter dome on the top & the perimeter of the lid is knurled not faceted.I ordered an early lid from Moss. The Moss lid is missing the the embossed word "Girling Ltd". Also, while the large dome in the center is present on the Moss lid, it is a flatter dome. The black lid is from Moss & the silver lid is an original lid.Is there source for a repro lid with the "Girling Ltd" embossed on it? Or 2 OE lids in very good condition?Gary Hodson
