[Healeys] Healeys Digest, Vol 18, Issue 114…Speedo

I had same problem.  What I did:  1. Detach cable first from Tran. Inspect. If looks good,lube, reattach and see if fixed, if not, 2. Do same with other end of speedo. If not, replace cable with elbow ( not expensive). Then, if not, send speedo out for reconditioning.
