[Healeys] OIL PRESSURE

Hi Carl and Gerry,

The oil pressure might be a bit low once the oil gets hot.

What grade of oil are you currently using? The cold start pressures you
mentioned sound perfectly normal, which indicates that your oil pump and
oil release valve are functioning correctly. Until the release valve opens,
the pressure is determined by the resistance within the oil distribution
system.

At low RPMs and with hot oil, wear on the rocker shaft could be a possible
cause for the pressure drop.

Best,
Harold
