If I recall correctly these were built off the duncan drone or some
facsimile thereof.  It had to do with the UK putting a heavy tax on bodied
cars, so it was better to buy a chassis and engine and pay someone to build
a chassis separately at the time.  Part of the reason we threw tea in
Boston Harbor....
