On BJ8s, the front filter has to fit partially under the shroud; Dave fabbed a prototype with the hole high in the backplane so the filter would sit low enough to fit. He sent me the prototype, along with a couple 'stub stacks' that fit inside and I promptly started enlisting buyers on this list. I had 15 or so owners lined-up but, unfortunately Dave's wife was injured in a car crash and, well, he lost interest (understandably). He never asked for payment, and he was exceedingly pleasant to deal with.

A couple of years ago I wanted to put a pair of K&N air filters on my Healey. I was referred to Dave at APT. He knew exactly what was required and put together custom K&N kits at a fair price. Until I contacted Dave I was having no luck finding the right parts on my own.
