[Healeys] Wheels loose

Minilites?
How old?
I bought a set and had to have the cone surfaces re machined. 
Clean the cone surfaces and apply engineering blue. 
Knock the wheels on and drive gently around the block. 
Come home and look at the blue. 
Jags etc had a different taper angle. 
I suspect that is your issue. 
It something like “should be 8 degrees, but it’s 9.5”
But I don’t remember. 
The angle required is in your spinner on the outside, and on your hub on the inside. 
I suspect the angles on your wheel don’t match
