[Healeys] [O/T] Manuals

[HealeyRick]

I grew up in Massachusetts and when I was getting my driver's license in
1966 the law had just changed to allow drivers who got their license on an
automatic to drive a manual. Before that unless you took your driver's test
on a manual, you couldn't drive one. In 1967, I bought my cousin's bugeye
(frogeye) and she gave me about a half-hour manual driving lesson.
Fortunately, I lived in the country and lots of back roads amongst the
cranberry bogs to practice my skills.
