That car confused me because in the photo of it I saw, supposedly in Australia, it was White and sported the license plate PWD663F, which is the same plate Alan Casevant’s car had during our mountain tour. He sold it to Germany and everyone seems to agree it’s now in Switzerland, not Australia.
I sent a query to Mr. Rowland about the discrepancy, hoping he could clarify things, but he didn’t respond.

Doesn’t Peter Rowland (brother of Rob, Healey Factory Australia) own one?
Isn’t one of the original 4000’s still here in Australia?

Guys-the photos i sent earlier of the 3- 4000s clearly show 3 different side light configurations so no matter what color the cars are now, I'm sure that no one swapped any shrouds. Look closely at the photos-the first prototype had a combination of large and small Lucas lamps. Hank

No Michael , that is fine . What prompted my response was I went to the ad and it said one of four. I believe there were only 3 but could be wrong but fairly sure none were red. If it’s a tool room copy i applaud to the owner for
his work. I have yet to look it closely but will.

Hi Ken--
Perhaps I should not have assumed that the car pictured was in fact "the one true 4000".

That’s is certainly not and original from my knowledge . I also was in Alan car when he had it . It’s now in Switzerland I was told . I recall being three on e automatic . None of them for red and did have this style dash . Not commenting on the quality of the works as I have not looked closely but appears to be done well..
Alan Hendrix had the car at shop for long periods and he could shed one light . The black 4000 is in Vreeland in the museum I saw in last year and Alan’s was white. I have photo of me in it somewhere .

No doubt Kees and yet there it is in print.
I saw this car years ago when it was supposedly owned by Allen Casavant Something happened and he departed the scene as did the car. I thought it was unimpressive.
