[Healeys] Ferrari (The Movie)

Amazing how many Healeys appear in period movies. Just one example: in BULLIT, you see a Healey three times—a parked yellow 3000 Mk II roadster in two scenes and a green Mk III on the road during the chase scene. And of course in ON THE BEACH, several 100s and a 100-6 driven by Ava Gardner (one with the new and improved cylinder head so I’ve read).

Yeah, that's what I saw so I looked it up when I got home.

I have seen the movie as well and there is a very brief appeatance of an Austin-Healey in Healey blue with white coves near the beginning of the Mille Miglia, no more than 2-3 seconds.

Subject: Re: [Healeys] Ferrari (The Movie) If you look on Heleysix.net, it maybe that the rear axle from a car
owned by De Portago was used in a Healey for a while, but it's very unclear.

I was hoping that the film was aviable to stream, but no such luck. I
have a shot of Taruffi and von Trips approaching the line in my
collection and would love to see how the directors represent it.

It *was* a very brutal race.
