We have had several v8 Healeys over the years. Some more fun than others but several became a v8 car because the stock parts were not available. Even returned a couple cars back to stock drivetrains before selling.
Still have a 1954 100 with a Chevy z28 350, 4 speed and Ford 9 inch posi rear end in the garage and a fully restored 55 BN2. Both are fun in their own way
As I get older and the reality of having to clear the garage of my toys becomes a more frequent topic of discussion. The second thoughts about stock or modified fade away.
