[Healeys] BJ8 1967 Engine Rebuild failure

Hank, I'm very interested to know if you have any experience with line
boring a Healey 6 cylinder engine in order to accommodate mismatched main
bearing caps.
I approached a very experienced shop that I have great confidence in with
this issue and was told that to do the job "correctly " involved an
extensive amount of work as in the case of the particular engine I was
trying to rebuild the center of the bore on the caps was displaced around
0.018" from that of the block.
