Thanks, good to know as I found in some cases 3M wouldn’t stick to some paint like Por15 or chassis Saver

I have used Lepages Contact Cement and black Permatex Super Weatherstrip Adhesive. The Permatex was better for mouldings and seals and the contact cement better for flat surfaces.

I got it on wrong: put on the body instead of the lid but while not concours, it works
I have used the 3M spray for bigger areas like floor insulation or carpeting etc where overspray not a big deal.
