I will check on that for you Al but what I would recommend is to have an electric winch installed inside of the trailer, at the front and you completely eliminate this issue of not having enough room to maneuver inside the trailer. You drive your car to the ramp/door hook up the winch and pull the car in slowly.

Subject: [Healeys] Enclosed Car Trailer for BJ8

Would you please post the following:

Need some direction, please. I have a ’66 Austin Healey BJ8 and looking for an enclosed trailer. Do to my age and physical limitations, it will be very difficult for me to “slip” up and out of my car (top down) if my door can not open 1/2 the way. What would be the “smallest” inside dimension for such a trailer? Any recommendations on brand? options? Know of any used (two axle) for sale?
Thanks
