The original steering box is not replaced with rack and pinion the original steering column is cut, a spigot is welded in place, and the electric motor unit is put on to the column with a clamp round the outer tube making it a rigid assembly this fits under the dash, you can alter the assistance given with a switch or a speed control driven from the Speedo cable .[image0.jpeg][image1.jpeg]
