Others may advise differently but it isn't the way to go. Although you may,
with difficulty, get the get the overdrive off reinstalling it is almost
impossible even with my special tool.

I had an employee damage an overdrive very badly (cracked case) trying to
proove me wrong.
Just sayin'.
