Mine fit perfectly from the templates I sent.

A hearty 'second' on CocoMats. Several choices for materials, they don't slip and have excellent customer service. Even if they have a pattern, you might want to provide a template; the better your template, the better the fit (including notches for the seat rails). IIRC, they don't charge for a custom fit.
I had cheap rubber mats for years; they would slide up and interfere with the pedals (an annoyance and minor safety issue). I finally wised-up.

Coco Mats (cocomats.com) make great mats, though they are not cheap. When I had my mats made for my BN7, they did not have a patter for BN7/BT7 side shifts, so I made some and sent them to them. They should be able to do side shift 3000 now.

Thanks Bob, I should have been more specific – I am looking for carpet, not rubber mats.

I recently bought these rubber mats from Moss - Floor mat Set, Black Rubber 021-430 for my side shift BT7. There were guidelines to trim for the different gear box profiles. They fit well and I am happy with the result.

Yes, the side shift / center shift gearboxes require different profiles. The rubber Ammco mats have the two profiles molded in and you cut the excess rubber off to fit your car.

Hi all, I am thinking of buying some floor mats for my side-shifter BT7 to save the wear and tear on the original Karvel carpet I have. Several suppliers sell a pair of mats that are described as “embroidered” with the Healey wings and they are listed as fitting all 3000s from ’59 to ’67. I thought the side-shift and centre shift gearbox tunnels were different and had a different profile to the carpets, so I don’t see how these mats will fit all 3000s. Anyone have any experience with them in side-shifter? The ones Moss sell seem a little different and they say they fit only ’62 to ’67 cars, which would be the centre shift cars. More generally, anyone recommend some inexpensive fitted mats to go over the carpet? Many thanks.
