Stripping the car and power washing everything asap is important. Of course, draining the engine and transmission, oil down the cylinders turning them over etc. Then decide what to do next. Maybe try to start the engine? The car was well taken car of for many years. Someone out there need another project?
Tomorrow is the auction.

My son’s TR6 was in his car port in Key West when Wilma came through. The storm surge was over the top of the car. He bought a power washer and cut a few holes in strategic places and managed to save the body and chassis. He forgot to drain the engine and transmission and that was another story…

Please be advised the Flood was salt water from Hurricane IAN. Ed took very good care of the car. Still at the right price it could be a good project for the right price. Location is Central Florida

Looks pretty easily salvageable.

Subject: My 1962 MGA Mark II
My MGA was damaged by the flood. After a lot of thought I had to let it go because I am still working on the TR4A and don't have time or space to work on 2 cars. I found the car is currently being auctioned. I am not sure of the implications of the salvage title - flood. I was the second owner of the car, which I had for 35 years and still have original paperwork. I don' t if anyone would be interested. It is listed at:
1962 MG ALL MODELS for Sale | FL - PUNTA GORDA SOUTH | Tue. Nov 01, 2022 - Used <https://www.copart.com/lot/63224742/salvage-1962-mg-all-models-fl-punta-gorda-south> & Repairable Salvage Cars - Copart USA
The auction ends on Tuesday the 1st and the current bid is $675
