[Healeys] Self Repair with Hagerty?

I have made a claim with Hagerty, they were terrific. You should get an
estimate from one or more shops as to what it would cost. They will send an
adjuster out, who will take a look at the car and the estimates. Then they
will cut you a check based on their information and the estimate you
provide. I found them matched the estimate from the shop I got the quote
from. Take the money, and just do whatever work you can yourself and use
the rest for the body shop. If you have anything left, buy a few rounds for
the rest of the Healy people at the pub. No, my rates did not go up.
