FWIW. If you want to see some sports car racing, IMSA is running at Lime Rock on Friday and Saturday. And it’s a nice drive to get there

For something more modern, I suggest the Ellis Island Immigration/Statue of Liberty museums, and the Lower East Side Tenement Museum (a National Historic Site), to see what it was like to come to America a century ago.
