[Healeys] Leather Seats

Harold,

Without reference to the Concours Guidelines, seats on the 100s (BN1/2s)
had leather facings, with the entire seat cushion, the front of the
backrest and the arm rest top in leather and the back of the seat rest in a
matching vinyl.

In the US, leather seats on convertibles (BJ7-8s) were a VERY RARE option,
and the vast majority of cars came in vinyl. Many folks use this to do
their cars with a leather interior, but again that's not how the majority
were trimmed from new. I think in 40 years I've seen just one or two
convertibles documented with leather from the factory.
