[Healeys] “New” Healey 100 rights

Here is what I was able to discover about the AH namesake (from 2007):

Nanjing Automobile Company, which bought the remnants of MG and in
May resumed production of the MG TF in Longbridge, England, has signed
a deal to use the Austin-Healey name. NAC's deal is with HFI
Automotive, a U.S. company that bought Healey Automobile Consultants
in January 2006 with its own plans to revive the marque.

In February 2006, HFI said it would build a series of coupe and
convertible sports cars with the "DNA of the 3000," plus a replacement
for the Healey-Sprite.

So, will NAC revive the Bugeye? So far, NAC isn't saying what it
plans to do with the A-H name. The revived TF it's assembling in
England is simply the aged "hairdresser's car" that Rover built there
for years, and NAC's plans to assemble more sports cars for the US.
market in Oklahoma have been on hold for months. But its purchase of
the Healey naming rights from overly ambitious HFI proves that, these
days, if you want to get a nascent automaker off the ground, plan to
deal with one of China's many upstart companies.

Current owner of the Caton is in UK, but has a division in the US:

US OPERATIONS

	ENVISAGE GROUP DEVELOPMENTS INC.
Inc. 41332 Christy St. Fremont, CA 94538, USA

	+1 510 996 5065

My understanding was that Nanjing "Owned" the AUSTIN name but NOT the
Austin-Healey Marque. Here is their concept car entitled "Healey".

I do not believe that they (Caton) can legally use the Austin-Healey
winged badge on the car, It was the sole owner ship of Healey
Consultants and when Margot passed the "family" tried to negotiate
with the Chinese company NaingJung, but the deal fell thru. Did Caton
get the rights to the name?Hank

And to ad to the conversation, why didn't they turn the wheel over?
One up in the center would have been more in keeping with the original
orientation of the original steering wheel. It seems the three
"spokes' are set 120 degrees apart.
 Oh well.
To each his own, but not for me.

Half a million bucks and we are going to hide the grille-looks like
a sad 100 rather than a smiling one. Nothing uglier than black wire
wheels to accent the '50s style. This guy Caton must be using some old
taxi engines bored out to 3L. Not how I want to remember 100s. Donald
and Geoff would turn over in their graves if they saw this upgrade of
their original design..gosh they hated XC-52 (the fireball so
much-this would be the capper) Hank

That's gotta be 4-5 degrees of negative camber; how would that affect
handling? Seems like it would make a 100 pretty squirrelly.

Agreed. It is a nicely completed modification, but really for that
amount of dosh there are many other cars I'd rather get.

 Cheers,

I can do it for £350k if anyone is that stupid! 😂
