Don't stop. No, seriously - I'm finding it valuable to get a complete picture of the fellow Healey list people.

FWIW, several of the members of the local chapter have recently made explicitly clear their views as regards others. I have found it very enlightening.

David,    Portland is doing just fine.  A bunch of vandals breaking windows and trying to cause mayhem in downtown Portland is a far cry from an attempted coup d'etat by a bunch of right wing traitors trying to overthrow the election of the rightfully and fairly elected president of the United States.  But apparently you can't tell the difference.

The comparative freedom to travel in the US, Latin America and Europe is painfully obvious to all of us, and whilst they have had issues with COVID we haven't, I'm not so sure living in a bubble you're afraid to open is a better option.  We were told the Vaccine would fix this, clearly it hasn't - and that's why Oz hasn't opened its borders yet despite the high vax rate.  For what it's worth I took both shots and now my hearing is messed up because of it, so not only can I not travel, but now I have hearing problems.  I hope it goes away but it seems to come and go... I still hope for hearing recovery.

Also... not sure how we got to 2 years from "2 weeks to flatten the curve".... and if all of us aren't asking this question of our respective overlords, we are living in fantasy land.

Best,
Alan
