[Healeys] Body panels.

As explained in an article by the late Rich Chrysler, there are no straight lines on an Austin Healey. The correct rocker panels will have a very subtle compound curve which bows slightly to the outside of the body and also droops a bit under the doors. These must be made in a press. Many after market rockers are produced on a brake, which can only give a straight fold. These parts mar the symmetry of the intended body line. If you have ever seen a car that just had something wrong either the look of the lower body it probably had the straight rockers installed. I don’t know anything about the Moss part, but I know the KAS part is correct.

Can anyone please tell me if the Kilmartin rocker panels for the BJ8 are worth three times as much as those from Moss?

I have to declare that I have had Kilmartin stuff before, and whilst good, it's not been perfect!
