Quite the disparity of time, 30 minutes a week to 5-6 hours a day!! I guess I fall somewhere in the middle of this. Right now I'm pretty much finished with my BN1. I rebuilt the engine the engine last year, first time I ever did an engine by myself, but figured I'd tackle it one bolt at a time, make sure the torque settings were correct and lube, lube, lube as I go. Have over 2,000 miles on it now and though it makes a lot of noise, she runs smooth and loves to go down the highway cruising at 80 mph. She also loves the twisty roads and I try to get her out at least once a week for a hundred or so miles.I also have a MGB/GT project I'm working on now and like Ira, I try to get 30 minutes here and there to work on it, but not weekly, daily. Some days it's thirty minutes, some days it six hours, but I don't beat myself up over the hours spent, I just do what I can when I can. I'm doing a complete engine rebuild on that car also. Figured it worked once, I should be able to do it again. Right now I'm waiting on valve springs and the machine shop is going to do the boring soon for 20 over pistons. So basically, I do what I feel like. Try to stay busy and with taking over the Advertising Manager position at AHCUSA Magazine, I've added a little more to my plate. I do try to keep everything fun though. Challenge is good, but frustration isn't. Luckily, I've learned that taking the time, thinking things through and not trying to finish every little job right now, helps keep frustration at bay. That and just walking the beach while I think helps a bunch. Thanks for the question Perry, hope all is well in your world and of course the rest of the list as well. It seems the list isn't down, it's just walking the beach and thinking!Steven KingsburyBN1On Dec 9, 2021, at 4:52 AM, Perry Small via Healeys <healeys at autox.team.net> wrote:ListersGood morning ladies and gents….Hope all is well with you. Perhaps something a little different today. Read the subject “Is the list down” and had this thought…..With the daily requirements and responsibilities of life life facing each of us every day, how do you maintain some motivation towards your planned or ongoing projects in the garage?I understand prioritization and even treating your hobby as a business with set hours, etc.But there is always that little voice that says, I’ll get to that tomorrow, which turns into long delays in progress. Curious how you approach this issue. PerrySent from my iPhoneOn Dec 9, 2021, at 7:00 AM, Michael Salter via Healeys <healeys at autox.team.net> wrote:Looks like it's working  ..Ask what sort of engine oil you should use ... sure to get things moving ... 🤣🤣🤣🤣On Thu., Dec. 9, 2021, 4:44 a.m. John and Kerry Rowe via Healeys, <healeys at autox.team.net> wrote:I was wondering the same thingOn Thu, Dec 9, 2021 at 7:29 PM Alan Seigrist via Healeys <healeys at autox.team.net> wrote:_______________________________________________ Support Team.Net http://www.team.net/donate.html Suggested annual donation  $12.75 Archive: http://www.team.net/pipermail/healeys http://autox.team.net/archive Healeys at autox.team.net http://autox.team.net/mailman/listinfo/healeys Unsubscribe/Manage: http://autox.team.net/mailman/options/healeys/jtkarowe@gmail.com _______________________________________________ Support Team.Net http://www.team.net/donate.html Suggested annual donation  $12.75 Archive: http://www.team.net/pipermail/healeys http://autox.team.net/archive Healeys at autox.team.net http://autox.team.net/mailman/listinfo/healeys Unsubscribe/Manage: http://autox.team.net/mailman/options/healeys/michaelsalter@gmail.com _______________________________________________Support Team.Net http://www.team.net/donate.htmlSuggested annual donation  $12.75Archive: http://www.team.net/pipermail/healeys http://autox.team.net/archiveHealeys@autox.team.nethttp://autox.team.net/mailman/listinfo/healeysUnsubscribe/Manage: http://autox.team.net/mailman/options/healeys/healeyguy@aol.com_______________________________________________Support Team.Net http://www.team.net/donate.htmlSuggested annual donation $12.75Archive: http://www.team.net/pipermail/healeys http://autox.team.net/archiveHealeys@autox.team.nethttp://autox.team.net/mailman/listinfo/healeysUnsubscribe/Manage: http://autox.team.net/mailman/options/healeys/airtightproductions@icloud.com
